About Train to the End of the World
An original TV anime directed by Tsutomu Mizushima. From Agano, Saitama Prefecture, where the world has been struck by anomalies, girls board a train and head for Ikebukuro, where a missing friend is.
On the "HERE" page of the official site, the progress of the story is shown along the stations of the Seibu Ikebukuro Line from Agano Station to Ikebukuro Station. The episode synopses also state Shiinamachi Station near the end and the terminus, Ikebukuro, making clear that the journey is set along the line.
