About

About Belle

An anime film directed by Mamoru Hosoda. Suzu, a 17-year-old who lives in a village in Kochi and can no longer sing after her mother's death, becomes a diva named "Belle" in the online virtual world U and meets a mysterious being called "the Dragon."

The Kochi Prefecture Tourism Convention Association introduces the model locations of the setting on a tie-up site and in spot information. The spots are mainly in the Niyodo River basin, such as Asao Chinkabashi Bridge on the Niyodo River, JR Ino Station, and the Yanagino settlement in Ino Town. The Kagami River and JR Asakura Station in Kochi City, and Usa Fishing Port in Tosa City, are also listed as models in the film.
