About

About A Whisker Away

A feature-length animated film produced by Studio Colorido. Muge, a second-year junior high school girl, transforms into a cat to visit the classmate she has feelings for, and comes to face her true self.

The story is set around the "Yakimono Sanpomichi" (Pottery Footpath) in Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture, and the Tokoname Tourism Association introduces Dokan-zaka, the climbing kiln, the pottery studio that served as the model for the Hinode family home, Shinmei-sha Shrine, and more. The spots are concentrated in an old pottery-making townscape within walking distance of Tokoname Station.
