A TV anime based on Shuichi Shigeno's manga, set in near-future Japan where the public-road race "MFG" for gasoline cars is held, in which Kanata Katagiri, who has come from the UK, challenges strong rivals in a Toyota 86.
In the Anime Tourism Association's 88 Anime Pilgrimage Spots, Odawara, Kanagawa Prefecture was selected, and Odawara Castle, depicted as the base station for the race commentary, and restaurants in the city that the characters visit to eat are introduced as settings.
