About Lucky Star

A TV anime produced by Kyoto Animation, based on Kagami Yoshimizu's manga, that depicts the daily lives of Konata Izumi, a high school girl with otaku tendencies at Ryoo Gakuen High School, and her friends.

The story is set in Saitama Prefecture, the original author's home region. Washinomiya Shrine in Kuki appears as "Takamiya Shrine," and Kasukabe Station appears as "Kasukabe Station" (written with different kanji). Washinomiya Shrine is known as a pioneer of anime pilgrimage.
