About A Silent Voice

A feature-length anime by Kyoto Animation based on Yoshitoki Oima's manga. Shoya, who bullied Shoko, a transfer student with a hearing impairment, in elementary school, meets her again as a high school student and comes to face her anew.

The place names in the work are fictional, but many of the models are the streets of Ogaki, Gifu Prefecture, the hometown of the original author. The settings are concentrated in the central urban area from Ogaki Station to Shiki no Hiroba, Midori Bridge, and Shin-Ohashi Bridge along the Suimon River, and Yoro Town and Gifu Station outside the city also appear.
