About Kimi to Hanabi to Yakusoku to

An animated film adaptation of Kaoru Mato's novel. Makoto and Kira, high school students living in Tokyo, are led by a picture of fireworks to Nagaoka, Niigata Prefecture, home of the Nagaoka Festival Grand Fireworks Display, where they are swept up by fate.
