A TV anime based on Yasuyuki Kosaka's manga, in which Hina Tsurugi, a first-year high school student who has moved to a seaside town, somehow joins the "Breakwater Club" and awakens to the joy of sea fishing with her friends.
The Ashikita Town Tourism Association introduces Ashikita, Kumamoto Prefecture as the model for the setting of the work, with spots along the Shiranui Sea such as Ashikita Ohashi Bridge, the Ashikita branch of the fishermen's cooperative, and Tsurugahama Beach as the main ones. Sashiki Station and the Shiraiwa railroad crossing on the Hisatsu Orange Railway, and the fishing tackle shop "Tenguya," are also listed as places that appear in the series.
