About Angolmois: Record of Mongol Invasion
A historical TV anime based on Nanahiko Takagi's manga, taking the Mongol invasions of the Kamakura period as its subject and depicting Jinzaburo Kuchii, a samurai exiled to Tsushima, fighting the Mongol army together with the islanders.
In the Anime Tourism Association's 88 Anime Pilgrimage Spots, Tsushima, Nagasaki Prefecture was selected, and historic sites and mountains on the island, such as the Kaneda Castle ruins and the Shimizuyama Castle ruins, which were settings of battles in the series, and the sacred Mt. Shiratake, are introduced as spots depicted in it.
